Signature event of the CHUM Foundation, le Grand Banquet de l’extraordinaire brings together several hundred attendees each year from influential circles—business movers and shakers, renowned physicians, public figures, and engaged members of the community.
This event will raise crucial funds to give the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) the means to revolutionize healthcare by accelerating its expertise and technological development.
The 2026 edition will highlight the Intensive Care and Burn Unit through the theme of time. In this world where every second counts, time stretches, accelerates, or comes to a halt. Care teams become guardians of the vital rhythm, resetting inner clocks and supporting patients on their path toward a new beginning. Every moment is lived in the absolute intensity of the present. A few seconds can change everything.
Dress code: To complement the event’s unique theme, bring out your evening wear in warm, shimmering tones — gold, copper, chocolate brown and rust — for a chic, refined and radiant look!
The menu will be crafted by none other than François-Emmanuel Nicol, chef and co-owner of the Michelin two-star restaurant Tanière³, ranked 4th on the North America’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025 list, along with chef Marc-André Jetté, owner of Hoogan et Beaufort, returning with his brigade for a third consecutive year.
